When I got hold of yesterday’s Stylist Magazine I flicked through as usual, but was totally hung up on the pages of Hobbs dresses…. I was straight online to check out the rest of their new collections, not least because of the offer for 20% off in the magazine!
Hobbs has long since held my affection, with gorgeously tailored and detailed dresses that even Emma Pilsbury would long for. I love the rather vintage styling, great fabrics and wonderful colours. I could easily pick dozens of pieces from their website or in store, but below are a few of my favourites and biggest ‘wants’…..
These two occasionwear dresses in the Hobbs Invitation collection are so pretty, and I adore the colours. With a big hat I could wear either for one of the weddings I’m off to this year…..
The Hobbs NW3 collection is perhaps my favourite, full of fun, quirky pieces with real charm. I am crazy about this fox belt which I would wear over a plain-ish shift I think…..
And how cute is this paper clip sweater?! The orange works so well with the grey, and as a self-confessed stationery obsessive, this really floats my boat….
I sometimes struggle pairing skirts and tops and opt for the easier route of a dress, but I would love to team this pretty feathery blouse with this elegant pleated skirt……
And how retro is this dress?! I’m loving the pleats and perhaps could wear it with the little fox belt!…..
I love the narrow cuffs and pattern on this gorgeously cute sweater…..
Hobbs Unlimited boasts a sophisticated collection of fashion-forward pieces and I am crazy for this twenties-feel shift….I’d love something like this with all the Great Gatsby trends about…..
And how pretty is this from the City Dresses collection?! So perfect for work or a weekend city break, I love the nipped in waist and full skirt…..
Fortunately, Stylist and Hobbs are offering the chance to win a £500 shopping spree at this wonderful store…. I know what I’d spend it on already!
