So apparently it’s May now. Spring in fact. Well, I’m yet to see any evidence, but I always have hope….. So the only thing to do is buy up those pretty, dainty, flowery prints that are everywhere…..
Nobody quite does country glamour like Joules, and right now I’m in love with this cutesy skirt. I have long loved a good toile pattern, and this pretty blue is so very Spring. The shorter length and full pleating are very Jess Day indeed, and ever so wearable I think.
As you probably know, I love a good collaboration! I’ve been coveting the Liberty print Air Max since they came out and I can’t get enough of my Liberty print lined Barbour jacket. And so it’s no surprise that I’m now hankering after the new Dr Martens Liberty print collection….. The collaboration brings together the quality and craft of both brands by updating the iconic boot with the darling and girly Liberty print. I can’t quite decide between two of the patterns…. but that’s ok because there are also satchels to choose from!
Those who know me will tell you I have a bit of a silk scarf obsession. I’ve not counted recently, but I guess I have near 50 of them. I’d like to think I have one for every occasion and outfit (which is why I’m always on the look out for more!), but it’s more than their versatility and ability to brighten things up that I love them for….. I feel I have a little bit of fashion history in all those prints and designs, and so Oasis’ new scarf collection was bound to catch my eye. Inspired by Nicky Albrechtsen’s books, Oasis have created a stunning collection of silk separates which incorporate her most gorgeous vintage prints…… this dress in particular has my attention with its deliciously retro pattern, cleverly spaced over a wonderfully vintage shape.
All we need now is a little sun to shine!
